relying on FedEx

On Saturday morning, I FedExed my passport to San Francisco in hopes of getting it back with an Indian visa before I fly on April 1st at 1:40am...

A 6 month, multi-entry visa costs $60 + $13 fees + $20 for return overnight FedEx.

They have an interesting system online where you fill out all your info on their website, then you can pay by credit card. Then your info is sent to them via the web and you also print a copy and send it with 2 pics, your passport, and some proof you that you live where you say you do... and send it off to SF using a trackable method. And in my case, via FedEx, which set me back about $25... but it's better than not getting my visa in time! I already spent about $1300 on airfare!

Yup! I'm off again for the first two weeks of April... if I can get an Indian travel visa in time!
